Chuck Lorre Enters Written Agreement With Wife Arielle In Divorce Settlement

“Big Bang Theory” creator Chuck Lorre is no longer a three-time divorcee as he has reached an agreement with his ex-partner, Arielle Lorre.

Two years after filing to end his third marriage in 2022, the so-called “King of Sitcoms” is finally closer to the legal conclusion of his divorce. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the famous TV producer and his ex asked the judge to honor their settlement agreement and close the chapter on their affairs.

The legal document filed on February 5 by Chuck is a declaration for the uncontested dissolution of his marriage. This means both parties have agreed to end their vows and, according to the document, hope to settle their divorce according to a written agreement.

The filing states that the two’s agreement includes dividing their property and their marital or domestic partnership rights, including spousal support, which Chuck waived. Instead, he will pay Arielle her fees according to their agreement, and this undisclosed stipulation also covers her attorney’s fees.

Because the couple had no children during their marriage, the producers of “The Big Bang Theory” did not have to worry about child support. Regarding the grounds for ending his marriage with Arielle, he doubled down on the court’s request to dissolve their union based on “irreconcilable differences.”

Chuck cited similar grounds in his initial divorce filing in 2022 and stated the couple had separated in May. Her divorce filing also revealed the couple had a prenuptial agreement after they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in October 2018.

The former couple confirmed their split in a statement to PEOPLE, confirming their split was a mutual decision. “With consideration and mutual respect we have decided to separate,” they revealed at the time.

“Our plan is to move forward in a different direction but with love, admiration, and gratitude for the time we shared,” they added. “We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your support.”

Before saying his vows to Arielle, Chuck was married to two women. The “Two and a Half Men” producer first tied the knot with his longtime business partner Paula Smith from 1979 to 1992. During this union, he welcomed two daughters: Nicole and Asa.

Following the conclusion of his romance with Paula, Chuck finds love again with former Playboy Playmate Karen Witter. The lovely couple were together from 2001 to 2010 but had no children.

As for his third wife, Arielle is a well-known health influencer with over 287,000 Instagram followers. Following the announcement of her divorce from Chuck, she shared a motivational speech on TikTok, telling her fans not to lose hope.

“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but… Don’t lose hope. Please believe there are a thousand wonderful things waiting for you. Sunshine comes to everyone who feels the rain,” he wrote in the video.

It’s unclear how much Arielle will get from the divorce settlement; however, it may be a pretty penny. Chuck earned his nickname “The King of Sitcoms” after achieving a successful career as a film and television director, writer, producer, and composer with several film credits.
