The act left the “Fair Game” actress in tears in her hotel room in Rome. He was so traumatized by it that he never cut his hair. Crawford continued that the trauma caused her to lose control of her modeling career and life decisions.
“I don’t think I’m seen as someone who has a voice in his destiny. It’s not that I don’t like my hair short; It’s because I didn’t vote myself to have short hair,” said the mother of two.
The distressing event left the model second-guessing her career path as she also thought she wasn’t ready for that life.
Aside from the hair incident, Crawford also had a hard time getting her dad to understand modeling. He continued that his father wasn’t too impressed with the choice and decided to see for himself. In his words:
“My father really didn’t understand that modeling was a real career. She thinks modeling is like another name for prostitution. So they came with me to my first modeling appointment.”
Like father, like daughter, Crawford, whose journey began in Illinois, didn’t initially envision herself walking the runway. The stunning beauty, who sat on a white director’s chair and looked stylish in a black dress and leather jacket ensemble, admitted:
“I didn’t even know it was a real job. I don’t know how I can get the magazine from DeKalb, Illinois.
