Clare Crawley is best known for her time on the “Bachelor” television franchise.
He first appeared on the 18th season of “The Bachelor” and later became the leader of the 16th season of “The Bachelorette.” He also appeared in both seasons 1 and 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and on “The Bachelor Winter Game.”
When she became the lead on “The Bachelorette,” she left the show early because she thought she found the one with Dale Moss. The two were engaged but then had an on-again, off-again relationship. In October 2021, the two announced their separation.

The 41-year-old recently appeared on the Jan. 11 episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where he told hosts Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young about his time after becoming the show’s lead.
“After the end of my previous engagement and relationship, I was in a very dark place, a very low place – and struggling after a very bad show,” she said of her engagement to Dale Moss.
At the time of her engagement, she was also caring for her mother, who was in hospice as she battled Alzheimer’s and dementia. “It was an unprecedented moment. It was a moment I never expected… Time is so precious and time is so limited. There was a time a year and a half ago when we thought that was the end,” he continued to share.
“And to get – this will make me cry – but to share [that with my mom], I never thought that moment could happen,” he said holding back tears. “I was very upset for a long time about my previous relationship because I felt like [Dale] take that time and take that time from me and my special mom and I’ve been waiting to share it with my mom.”
The 41-year-old has spoken about his father on past seasons of “The Bachelor” franchise, and so involving his mother in the engagement was especially important to him.
“I felt robbed of that before, and I felt taken advantage of that before and used for that before, and didn’t know how valuable that was to me,” Crawley explained.

The 41-year-old finally found love with her fiance Ryan Dawkins after having her heart broken multiple times on the “Bachelor” franchise.
Speaking about her new relationship, Crawley said, “So this time with Ryan, it’s like a really beautiful moment. And he became emotional, which made me very emotional. He was very, fair, respectful and loving – and he is still very good to my mother.”
She continued, “You never know where life is going to take you. I’m 41, almost 42. And I think, ‘I’m still lucky to have that moment with Ryan and my mom.’ But not only that, my mother is still here and she is still giving her best! She is comfortable and happy now.”
