Clean India Healthy India Essay in English

Healthy India Clean India Essay in English India is a colorful country with many cultures, colors and rich history. Not only Indians but also foreigners are excited about the treasures we have in terms of history and culture, but one thing we all hate is an unclean India. Cleanliness is not for show but important for every creature that exists on our planet. Cleanliness should be our main concern and Covid-19 has reminded us of its importance. It is a lesson for all of us that keeping our place clean is not only good for our environment but also important for our life.

A clean India will give us a healthy India where everyone can thrive happily and fight against horrible viruses and bacteria. Purity should not only live in the minds of Indians but should reflect our lifestyle.

Thanks to our Prime Minister who gave clean India Abhiyaan which is also called “Swachh Bharat”. Many wake up after cleaning India Abhiyaan and start caring about cleanliness. I can’t forget the times when everyone from our Prime Minister to local people were in the news with brooms cleaning their communities and public places.

I am happy to see this because as a young generation of India I know how important cleanliness is for the health of Indians. Many children die of diseases caused by the unsanitary mess around them.

Essay On Clean and Healthy India in 1000 words

I can totally remember the Tarak Mehta ka Ultaa Chashma episode dedicated to watching India Abhiyaan. It is funny as always and has a clear message to people living in slums who have this major sanitation problem. That episode is one of my favorites because of the intense message it holds.

In slums, there is one main enemy of man and that is the unsanitary conditions in which people live. It is heartbreaking to see people living in such dire conditions. I am glad that those who hold responsible positions in India have started to prioritize cleanliness nowadays.

According to me, it is still a challenge faced by many slums and villages today. Not only villages, but many big states also still face hygiene problems, especially in the rainy season.

Maintaining the cleanliness of our bodies and the environment of our minds is not the task of one person alone, but is a collective effort that we all need to do. I often see poor waste management around my community. People still throw their household garbage in the open.

There is no garbage disposal system, drains are sometimes flooded and I have also seen people throwing their things out in the open. High pollution is another concern faced by Indians, not surprisingly given the situation in Delhi where people yearn for fresh air every year.

Many mohallas and streets have litter strewn like beautiful decorations, is it a good impression for people visiting India? I think many times foreigners come to India just to see how bad the conditions are on the streets in terms of cleanliness and hygiene.

We must all ask ourselves these questions, how educated are we in terms of keeping our society clean? Can’t we do something about the slums and streets that have garbage problems? Is it so much to ask to keep clean wherever we go? I thought it was simple, but we Indians have a habit of making simple things complicated and the results are not surprising.

There are no toilet facilities in the slums, remember the prime minister’s movie Mere pyare released in 2018, the only wish of a child is to have a toilet for his mother. The concept is simple, but the message is great. Everyone must do their part and then we will have a clean India.

Our culture is about keeping our mind and soul clean and then we will be able to reach the highest, but it doesn’t seem that easy to me. We clean ourselves every day, we brush our teeth, we shower, and we make sure our clothes are clean before leaving for school and college, but what about our environment? Even the mountain is not clean today.

People party in their vehicles and litter the streets. I feel sad every time I go out for a walk with my dog. People with sick mentality are the real cause of bad image of our India. We only emphasize on keeping ourselves and our clothes clean but ignore the Mother Nature.

Many efforts have been made by the government, but according to me nothing has changed until now. The pollution is increasing day by day. Both cities and villages face unsanitary problems. People die every day because of garbage and unsanitary conditions and I feel ashamed about it.

In Japan children are responsible for cleaning their classrooms and even their toilets; this is the basic kindergarten education they get. Why can’t these virtues be taught to Indian students? In India, we feel ashamed to clean our bathroom and we hire safai wala for that.

This mentality needs to change or people will continue to die and our mother planet will have to bear the brunt of our negligence.

Try to imagine how bad we feel if someone throws garbage at our mother. Would you accept that? Then why do we do this to our nature, our planet that has given us beauty and a blissful environment to live in.

Why can’t we respect that? It’s time we all join hands and fight for our nature, for its beauty, and for our lives. Earth is our home where animals are more aware than humans. Have you ever seen any animals littering where they live?

Then why do educated people fall into that shameful practice? What will we bequeath to future generations; a planet full of unsanitary streets with garbage or a planet with a shameful human race with no responsibility towards their nature? The time has come for me to ask this question to all mankind.
