Seven-year-old Chanel Nicole is literally following in her mom CoCo Austin’s footsteps, and the doting parents couldn’t be prouder.
The youngster marked her runway debut in style at New York Fashion Week, just a year after being introduced to the fashion world.
Chanel’s commendable achievement certainly left the Miss Ujena 1998 titleholder overwhelmed, and she couldn’t help but show off her daughter’s act on social media along with some highlights from the memorable fashion show.

CoCo, who shares Chanel with her husband of more than two decades, rapper-actress Tracy “Ice-T” Marrow, recently flooded her Instagram with adorable photos while she was at NYFW with her baby girl.

The carousel starts with a glimpse of herself and her cousin Stephanie before showing the hour-long girl posing with friends in various slides. In one of the photos, the TV personality is pictured with rapper Lil Kim, whose daughter also graced the runway with daughter Stephanie.
The highlight of the carousel is the final slide, where Chanel is filmed confidently strutting down the runway while her loved ones, including her dad, can be heard thundering in the background.
The seven-year-old mini-icon stood on the platform like a pro, and when he reached the edge, he raised his hand and blew a kiss to the crowd before exiting.
An overjoyed CoCo announced in the caption of the post, “Chanel had her first fashion show yesterday called @rookieusa. Also, my cousin’s little daughter Stephanie @lacey.lynne_ got it [to] walk the runway too.”
She also admitted that it was a “special day,” adding that several friends showed up, including Lil Kim and her daughter Royale, who is a friend of Chanel. Commenting further on the feat, the 1997 Swimwear Illustrated cover star wrote, “It was so cute to see all 3 girls walk the runway!! I was in tears.”
