Several former fans of the “Miranda Sings” YouTube star have come forward in the past month claiming that the 36-year-old has engaged in inappropriate behavior towards them; many of these fans were underage at the time.

In addition to a viral TikTok of a young woman’s experience at a “Miranda Sings” concert a few years ago, group chat text messages between Ballinger and several young fans have surfaced.

Accounts of alleged inappropriate behavior that recently surfaced last month aren’t the only incidents against “Rewind Haters!!” star Ballinger confirmed he had sent a set of underwear to young Adam McIntyre after a YouTube giveaway in a video in 2020.

Ballinger responded to the controversy in a recent YouTube video after weeks of social media silence. He would sing his explanation accompanied by a ukelele; the video will receive a constant response.

Since the release of Ballinger’s “Toxic Gossip Train” video, more revelations about his alleged behavior have continued to emerge.

A former staff member of “Haters Back Off!!” the aforementioned Netflix Series, took their Substack to write about their experiences.

The former writer, who is a black woman, discussed Ballinger’s reported racist behavior on set; Ballinger allegedly insisted the show didn’t use many “POC background actors because the show takes place in Washington and bringing them there would just be ‘disturbing.'” He also reportedly wanted assurances that Asain’s revamped food market would be completely hidden before the cameras rolled, reportedly referring to it as “Asian s**t.”

Yesterday, a clip of Ballinger, dressed as Miranda, performing Beyoncé’s “Single Woman” at a live show around the time the song was released, started going viral. Ballinger is seen wearing dark makeup on her face and dressed in a leotard similar to Beyoncé’s in the song’s music video. Many critics accused Ballinger of deliberately performing in blackface for the routine.

New Footage Shows Ballinger May Not Be Wearing Black Makeup On Purpose

A day after the clip first appeared on social media, a new clip has surfaced, potentially disproving critics’ claims.

According to TMZ, Ballinger wore green “Wicked” makeup for a performance of the song from the 2003 musical. He performed the song with “Wicked” actor Oliver Tompsett. The publication also insisted she had “no time” to prepare between the segment and her “Single Woman” performance. Clips of Ballinger and Tompsett performing together have been obtained exclusively by the outlet.

Ballinger has not commented on the resurfaced footage; he has also not posted to several of his YouTube and social media accounts since the release of his response video last week. Her husband, “Good Trouble” actor Erik Stocklin, has not responded to any of the allegations.

Stocklin and Ballinger married in 2018, two years after divorcing fellow YouTube star Joshua David Evans.

Evans, however, has spoken out about Ballinger’s alleged conduct.

This behavior was my reality whenever I spoke & disagreed with his actions & rhetoric throughout 2009-2016. I also feel gaslit. I was made to feel like I was always the problem. Any pain I felt was inconvenient and minimized.

He originally took to Twitter on June 28, writing, “This behavior is my reality whenever I speak & disagree with his actions & rhetoric from 2009-2016. I also feel gaslit. I’m made to feel like I’m always the problem . Any pain I feel is inconvenient and I’m belittled. Every ounce of what you feel, I understand.”

Evans too tweeted “I have no desire to use this as a catalyst for a YouTube comeback. It’s not a safe place for me. I’m past that. My voice is only here to help validate those who are hurting, nothing more. I don’t need to make any money from this. This is vile & not in my heart, whatsoever.”
