A group of communist revolutionaries were caught burning an American flag during a staged protest outside a Jason Aldean concert in Chicago on Saturday night while mocking the country artist’s controversial song.
About 20 communist members of the Chicago Revolution Club gathered outside Credit Union 1 Amphitheater in Tinley Park with a rallying cry against capitalism — chanting phrases like “F–k the US and all its might,” according to a video shared by News2Share.
The group was filmed taking a jab at Aldean’s “Try That In A Small Town” while burning an American flag and calling the Georgia-born artist’s song a “fascist piece of sh-t.”
“Guess what, Jason? We’re going to try it in a small town,” activist Rafael Kadaris, a California resident who flew to the Windy City to take part in the protest, told the Chicago Tribune.
“We will try it in the big city. And we will try it in front of your concert.”
The group said they also came out to show their support from the national Marxist group showing their support for RevCom.News2Share / Youtube

As Revolution Club members set fire to Old Glory, law enforcement quickly descended on the protest, announcing over megaphones that the group was an “unlawful assembly” and that concertgoers were “let alone and disturbed” by their presence, the video shows.
“You’re disturbing the peace without the authority of the law,” a Tinley Park Police Officer told the group through a cowbell over their singing.
“We order you to disperse immediately. Failure to comply may result in chemical conditions or less law being deployed,” the officer warned the group, who cheered at the two officers’ words.
Members of the communist group shared that they did not face any problems with concertgoers, other than a few middle fingers directed at them.News2Share / Youtube
The group continued to burn other flags but soon migrated away from their protest area after repeated instructions and warnings by the police.
Protesters streamed out of sight of the theater – but continued their anti-American and anti-capitalist chants as they continued to shout in the streets escorted by police.
Aside from being kicked out a few times, the group didn’t experience any altercations with Aldean fans during the protest and flag burning, Kadaris told the outlet.

The concert went on as scheduled and no arrests were reported.
Protesters also showed their support for RevCom (Revolutionary Communist Party) — an organization that believes in creating a Marxist revolution in America and calls the US “the belly of the imperialist beast,” RevCom’s website says.
Leo Pargo, a leader of the Chicago Revolutionary Club who was arrested while burning one of the many flags, declared to the store that burned the Stars and Stripes that he was protected by his right to free speech as he defended communism.

Those who oppose the artist’s song believe Aldean is criticizing the Black Lives Matter protests and riots.
Days after the release of her music video, the “She’s Country” singer took to social media to clear the air.
“In the last 24 hours, I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been released since May) and subjected to the comparison that I (direct quote) am not too happy with the BLM protests across the country,” he write on X, formerly known as Twitter, to its 3.8 million followers.
“These references are not only worthless but dangerous.”
