Constance Wu is set to welcome her second child with Ryan Kattner. The actress was recently spotted on Tuesday as she was out and about with her baby bump peeking out from under her shirt.
She kept the news of her pregnancy out of the news, having previously done the same when she was pregnant with her daughter in 2020.
Wu previously revealed in his memoir that he once attempted suicide following backlash over his comments on the 2019 renewal of his show “Fresh Off the Boat.”

The actress was snapped while out and about on Tuesday with her baby bump clearly poking out from under her top.
For the outing, the 40-year-old dressed casually, wearing a striped shirt and black sweats over a pair of sneakers. She paired the outfit with a black hat and oval sunglasses.
Her decision not to announce the pregnancy was not surprising as she had previously left the media out of the loop while she was pregnant with her daughter in 2020.
Wu has also been tight-lipped about her relationship with Kattner, the lead singer of the experimental rock band ManMan.
She is now raising the 2-year-old out of the spotlight and may be doing the same for her unborn baby.

Although not much is known about her daughter, Wu has revealed some intimate information about the little one in the past. The actress told Jimmy Fallon during an interview in 2021 that her daughter has a rare Mongolian spot, medically known as congenital melanocytosis.
“His back is blue. There’s this thing, I’ve never heard of it before, but it’s called the Mongolian spot,” Wu said of the birthmark.
“Apparently, it happens to most Asian babies, and my boyfriend and I are both Asian,” she added during a conversation held in May this year. “And this is where your back is as blue as the first two years of your life, and then it just disappears.”
Wu told reporters the following October that his son had never been quiet “for more than 10 minutes.”

Wu has attempted suicide in the past following backlash after he tweeted that he was “very disappointed” that his show “Fresh Off the Boat” was greenlit for another season in 2019.
In her memoir, “Making the Scene,” she shared that her former co-star was one of the people who criticized her for her tweet at the time, which triggered a severe emotional state in her.
The actress recalled her attempt to jump from the railing of her fifth-floor apartment in New York City but was saved by a friend who arrived just in time.
“[She] pushed me off the edge of the balcony and dragged me to the elevator and down into the cab, where he breathlessly called my publicist for help because he feared for my life,” Wu said of the friend, per Page Six.

She also detailed in her memoir about being raped just at the beginning of her career in the acting industry. “The Crazy Rich Asians” star said it happened after going out on a date with a novelist named Ty.
Wu claimed to have gone to his place after finishing, ignoring the warning bells ringing in his head. “He doesn’t seem threatening or shady in any way, and if you were there, you’d agree,” he wrote, per Page Six.
Recalling the incident, the actress said she would not fight back because her younger self was not prepared for the drama that comes with such an incident.
“Because when I think about the girl I passed by, I understand what she went through,” Wu added. “He is not yet ready to bear the insults and ridicule that happen when women make a scene. And I’m not going to force him to do something before he’s ready.”
