Cops burst into UK yoga class after students doing ‘corpse pose’ are mistaken for victims of ‘mass killing’

They thought there had been pre-meditate mass killing.

UK police raided a yoga class late Wednesday – after terrified locals thought a student lying on the ground was the victim of a “mass murder.”

The Seascape cafe in Skegness revealed the hilarious accident while apologizing for the “police sirens” that disrupted the seaside town’s zen.

The squad car raced there “after someone reported a massacre in our building” after seeing “several people lying on the floor,” the cafe wrote on Facebook.

“Which actually becomes a Yoga Class in meditation,” the business said.

The only bodies lying around were the poses presented by the attendees. “Corpse pose” – also known as shavasana – is where a person lies on their back with their arms and legs spread.

The Seascape Cafe informed locals about the classes taking place in the hope that others don’t get the same scare.

“We are not part of any crazy cult or crazy club,” quipped the post.

Yoga instructor Millie, who owns Unity Yoga, confirmed on the Cafe’s post that “everyone was safe and we all had a wonderful evening of meditation and yoga.”

“My heart goes out to people who think I’m a murderer but I can assure you I only have room for deep relaxation,” he joked.

“No one was hurt in the process,” he said on his own page.

Lincolnshire Police told the BBC that the caller had “good intentions.”

“Officers attended, we are happy to report everyone is safe and well,” a spokesman said.
