“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media went wild. My father had been out of the hospital for weeks, recovering. Actually, he was in a pickle last night!” he wrote. “Thank you for everyone’s prayers and support!” That wasn’t the only message he had for fans.
“We have an exciting job announcement coming up next week too!” he wrote, though fans weren’t sure what he could be referring to. Both Corinne and Jamie have dropped out of their roles for the sixth season of “Beat Shazam,” reportedly due to Jamie’s health scare.
Nick Cannon and Kelly Osbourne Replace Corinne and Jamie in ‘Beat Shazam’
The Fox game show “Beat Shazam” is now in its fifth season. Jamie Foxx has hosted since the premiere, while Corinne Foxx joined the series in season two to serve as the show’s DJ. Fans love watching the father-daughter duo on the Fox game show, but unfortunately, they will be sitting out the show’s sixth season.
On Wednesday, May 3, TV personality Kelly Osbourne took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that she was standing in the show’s DJ booth. In the background, the emcee can be heard welcoming “The Masked Singer” host Nick Cannon. It seems both Corrinne and Jamie are happy to see Nick and Kelly take over for them, as they said in an Instagram statement after the news broke.
