Tariq, otherwise known as the Corn Kid, visits “The Drew Barrymore Show” once again to try some interesting food options. The 7-year-old has been on the show in the past trying some corn-flavored treats, but this time there was no corn involved.

Introducing the corn-loving kid returning to the show as a guest again and saying he’s “one of our favorite people on the planet,” Barrymore added in a corn game to Tariq’s delight. “It might be funny to say, but we think he’s a conundrum. Oh yeah, I did,” Barrymore said, introducing Tariq.
During a “Food News” segment, Barrymore, Tariq and Ross Mathews tried a popular TikTok snack – ice cream in a fruit roll. “All you have to do is put a frozen treat in the middle of a fruit snack and a roll,” Barrymore explained before her three friends tried the frozen treat.

Tariq took a small bite of the attractive snack and judging by his reaction while chewing, he wasn’t too impressed. He said, “I like roll-ups but not this,” pointing to the ice cream in the middle. Barrymore says it’s not bad and Mathews offers, “I prefer the old school cone, don’t you?”
Later in the show, Tariq tries another meal, but this time with Barrymore and recipe developer Ronnie Woo. This taste test went a little differently than the last one.

Barrymore announced the unique food the trio would try was “farm ice cream.” “Farmers, ice cream, they have babies and now we’re going to try them,” Barrymore said.
As soon as Tariq tried a bit of the oddly flavored ice cream, his face said it all. He couldn’t help but be confused and maybe angry at the farm flavored ice cream.
Shaking her head no and placing the ice cream cup on the counter, she said, “I’m sorry, but I have to give this away,” and she gave two thumbs up with a disgusted face. He then needs some water to freshen up the taste a bit.
“I think it’s interesting. It goes in your mouth and tastes like vanilla,” Barrymore said. “And before you know it, you’re in the Hidden Valley. And it’s just a big left turn.” Woo agrees with Barrymore about the odd taste.

Even though Tariq doesn’t care for farm-flavored ice cream, he has a possible solution to make it a little better. He added bacon to his ice cream cup as Woo humorously pointed out, “So basically we’re trying to cover it with so much bacon that you can’t taste what’s underneath.”
He then added some cheese to his ice cream and bacon creation. Woo then asks if Tariq likes cilantro and after he says he never eats it, he tries it. It didn’t take long for him to decide that he liked cilantro.
After adding more treats to the farm’s ice cream, Tariq has finished creating the new treat but doesn’t want to try it (and not many can blame him.)

In September, Barrymore had corntastic Tariq on the show to try corn-flavored soda and baby corn, two things she’d never tried before. But his deep love of popcorn doesn’t help him to like soda or baby corn.
Being a good sport, Tariq tried a few other vegetables to give his thoughts on them.
Tariq’s wild corn wonder ride began last summer when he was interviewed by Recess Therapy in a New York City park eating corn. The interview quickly went viral and things haven’t slowed down for Tariq who has been enjoying a corn-filled adventure ever since.
Tariq has done some fun collaborations with popular YouTuber MrBeast, rode the Green Giant float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, was interviewed by Kenan Thompson and Kevin Hart, was named the “Corn-Bassador” of South Dakota and more.
