Olukoya revealed some intimate details about their breakup on an episode of Nick Viall’s podcast “The Viall Files,” including the revelation that the two had begun the new year having a disagreement.

“We just stopped clicking,” Oluykoya explained. “Communication is lost. January 2nd- I remember it like it was yesterday. It’s like, ‘What’s going on now?’ I fell in love with this woman, and then, like, I didn’t say she, like, turned into like, this terrible person, but it wasn’t that fast.

The couple eventually ended their relationship over the phone, after a week of “late-night conversations, sending phone calls, FaceTimes, things like that,” Olukoya said.

A breakup can have its ups and downs, but it seems the Youngs are now on an ups and downs in their respective healing experiences.

The former ‘Bachelor’ is more than willing to publicly reveal the details of her and Olukoya’s broken engagement to Life & Style Magazine a few days ago.

“I really did that work early on, and it’s a lot when there’s so much going on outside of you,” Young told the outlet. “You have to heal otherwise you will always love, your emotions depend on what happened,” he explained.

He captioned the TikTok, set to Drake’s “Too Good,” “When you’re just in a toxic relationship and a good relationship comes to you.” He can be seen belting out the lyrics to “I don’t know how to talk to you.”

Olukoya knows his TikTok may have sparked some speculation. The insightful ‘Bachelor’ alum used the hashtag “#don’ttakemytiktoksserious” possibly in an effort to dispel any new rumors that TikTok might have inspired!

Olukoya does take seriously the concept of finding true love. After the couple’s breakup, he soon had the foresight to see that splitting their phones might not have been the best idea. According to E! News, he called his choice “A bad move.”
