Country music singer Chase Rice, known for his hits “Eyes On You” and “Lonely If You Are,” is unveiling his first album since 2017.
Although the 37-year-old has released songs since then, the singer hasn’t worked on a full-length album in five years. Until now.

Rice took to Instagram to announce her upcoming album, “I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell,” is finally finished, and she can’t wait for her fans to hear it. But this one is special.
“For 10 years I’ve seen glimpses of who I really am in my music, but I’ve never been able to put it all together,” Rice wrote on Instagram. “I pursued whatever I thought I should be doing at the time. I’m done with that.”
He continued, “February I released my first full length album since 2017, and this album blew me away. I finally dealt with the loss of my father in this music, and this is an album I know he would be proud of. I wouldn’t have used his picture for the cover if I didn’t fully believe in these songs.”
“Today is my parents’ 43rd wedding anniversary, oh mom I love you, and dad, this is for you,” Rice concluded.

Chase Rice’s father, Daniel, died of a heart attack in 2008. He was 57 years old.
In 2020, Rice took to social media to share a beautiful photo of her and her father, honoring him.
“This is my father. He died 12 years ago today,” he wrote. “Losing him devastated me, and sent me to some strange places in my life. But I learned more from him in 22 years than most people do in a lifetime. For that I am grateful, and thank God every morning I sit on a rocking chair on the front porch of my house.”
He continued, “He’s got a mustache, and it’s better than your dad’s, unless your dad’s Dale Earnhardt, in which case your dad wins. Other than that, I’m a champ. Love you pops, have a beer with Jesus and tell him hi for me tonight.”
Recently, Rice released a new song, “For A Day,” honoring her late father, which she performed at the Grand Ole Opry. “This is as raw as it gets,” Rice said on stage. “I miss my dad every day, and if I could have one more time with him, these are just some of the things I would do with him.”
Rice went on to say, “My favorite part is seeing him with my nieces and nephews. I did three takes on this, one for each of them, and I couldn’t hold it together for any of them.”

The 37-year-old became emotional as he recalled the first time he ever performed at the Opry, with his mother there supporting him from the front row, with an open seat next to her for Rice’s father.
“I looked down that night, I saw him. He was alone, he had an empty seat next to him,” Rice told the audience. “My dad passed away when I was 22, and that’s probably the biggest reason why I ended up moving to Nashville and do this for a living.”
“And to be honest with you guys, I think I’ve done a pretty bad job of showing you who I am through my music over the last 10 years,” he continued. “And you get a little bit of it, but this next record we’re going to put out is the best, most vulnerable, real music I’ve ever done in my life.”
“For a Day” is expected to be on Rice’s upcoming album, “I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell,” due out in February.
