An adorable little girl leaves her parents in the lurch when she shoots a video of their oceanside proposal while becoming obsessed with the camera.
The estranged family of three gathered on the beach at sunset for a romantic engagement – but the couple’s daughter appeared to be against the idea, according to a video shared by the “Today” show. Tuesday.
As they stood perfectly still in the shot, the dad asked the little one, “‘Can I ask Mom a question?'”
As she turned to her partner and got down on one knee, she laid down the little one — who immediately turned to the camera with an enchanted smile.
She moves right into the camera, reaching out to grab it — with her carefree expression filling most of the picture and blocking her parents’ magical moment.

The parents seem aware of what’s going on, having a good laugh as they continue the proposal — ending with the woman jumping into her lover’s arms and kissing him after saying “yes,” with the girl cutting it off by turning the camera skyward.
The footage ends with the still-laughing parents removing the camera from their daughter’s grasp.
