Reality star Craig Conover has an idea for his wedding, even though it may not be in line with his girlfriend Paige DeSorbo’s wishes.
The “Southern charm” star and the “Summer House” personality first met while they were starring on their respective Bravo shows. However, they became friends after spending more time together while they were filming “Winter House” in 2021. At the time, Conover and DeSorbo were dating Natalie Hegnauer and Perry Rahbar, respectively.
After wrapping the series, the couple called it quits on their respective partners, and by fall, Conover and DeSorbo were confirmed to be dating. Although they’re not engaged, the “Southern Charm” star knows what he wants for his wedding, even if they may not align with his girlfriend’s dreams.

Craig Conover Wants a Relaxed Marriage

Recently, Bravolebrity celebrated the wedding of Patricia Altschul and Shep Rose’s dog with girlfriend Paige DeSorbo. This event made him think about what a special day with his girlfriend would look like.
“Paige’s vision is completely different than mine,” Conover shared in an exclusive interview with E!News. “I ended up moving to the Bahamas for a year or two because of a wedding I attended in Abaco, and everyone was barefoot when you arrived at the wedding. It was very relaxed, and everyone spent a week there.”

She continued, “I want to have a big welcome crab feast when everyone gets there, and then I want to have a rehearsal dinner on Thursday, a party Friday and a wedding Saturday, and a Sunday lunch. But you know, I just a boy who never really saw any of this.”

Paige DeSorbo Doesn’t Share The Same Dream As Her

He also added that while this is what he wants, the idea may not sit well with his girlfriend, who most likely wants a “four-to-five-day experience.”
“I don’t think Paige wants a beach wedding, but she’s OK with it being like a four-to-five day experience,” she shared. “I think the vision is somewhere in Italy.” Despite these plans, the couple is not engaged yet. However, they spent their summer together in Charleston and have admitted that their summer is off to a great start.
“It’s pretty hard to play at home without having a kitchen and living out of the box, and the fact that Paige feels so comfortable here with a home like this is an incredible sign,” Conover shared.

“Paige loves me for who I am, and I love that feeling. She’s my biggest fan. And I think that’s something I’ve been looking for for a long time — forever.”
Craig Conover Focuses On Growing ‘Sew South’

Aside from all the recent happenings, Conover has been working on growing “Sewing Down South,” a sewing and home decor business. follow UsWeeklythe brand not only focuses on decorative pillows but also features Charleston-inspired apparel, kitchen lines and candles.
Recently, he posted on his Instagram story that he has expanded his brand to HomeGoods stores, a retail chain that offers hundreds of stores across the United States.
“Sewing Down South has always been about making your home feel like you’re on vacation and building your paradise there,” Conover shared, per E! News. “RumHaven does the same thing. They want to create a drink that takes you straight to the islands, and that’s what it does.”

Couples Begin as Friends

Conover and DeSorbo met while starring in the series “Southern Charm” and “Summer House”. However, they became friends after they spent time together filming “Winter House.”
At the time, Conover and DeSorbo were dating different couples. After wrapping the series, the couple called it quits on their respective partners, and by fall, Conover and DeSorbo were confirmed to be dating.
“When we got to Vermont, I didn’t know he had a girlfriend. So, I was a little disappointed when I first got there. But, of course, he respected his girlfriend,” DeSorbo shared with UsWeekly. “And I’m so happy now looking back that he has a girlfriend because we developed a very platonic friendship, like, the basis of our relationship now. Everything happens for a reason.”
