Cristina Vita Aranda was pronounced dead shortly after being rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the head. He was shot in the head and did not survive. He is believed to have been caught in the crossfire in the VIP area of the Jose Asuncion Flores Amphitheater in the Paraguayan capital, Asuncion. Itaugua Nacional Hospital Director Yolanda Gonzalez confirmed Cristina’s death and she said,
He was intubated when he arrived and attempts were made to revive him for at least 25 minutes after he went into cardiac arrest. He died after a long attempt to save his life.”
A total of four people between the ages of 23 and 40 were confirmed to have been shot at a concert by Binomio de Oro’s, a popular music group. Police chief Benicio Ramirez confirmed Cristina Vita Aranda as a “collateral victim” in his initial report.
