Currie Graham, a Canadian actor, played Chadwick Benton in 1923. He worked as a lawyer for Banner Creighton but was previously Donald Whitfield. The oil tycoon asks him to free his henchman, Banner. Banner had previously attacked the Dutton family due to a dispute with Jacob Dutton. In the ambush, John Dutton Sr. was killed, while Jacob, Elizabeth, and Jack were wounded.

Currie Graham was born on February 26, 1967, in Ontario, Canada. He attended both Algonquin and Maynard Public Schools. His family moved from Algonquin, Ontario to Cardinal, Ontario when he was young. He went to South Grenville District High School in Prescott, Ontario, and then to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City to study acting. Currie is perhaps best recognized for his role as Lt. Thomas Bale in the final season of NYPD Blue. He also played male lead/romantic interest Nate Knaborski in the final season of Suddenly Susan.
