Michael Allio and Sierra Jackson built a connection on Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise” almost immediately.
In his first few days on the beach, Michael breaks down his walls and talks about losing his wife, Laura, and what life is like as a single parent. Sierra responded with support, even naming a group of stars after Michael’s family, including his late wife.
Unfortunately, that was the same night Michael ended everything with Sierra, which caught him off guard. The single father said there was “something missing” between them, leaving Sierra heartbroken. Instead of staying on the beach to see who else would come down, he decided to leave.

Michael lives on the beach and luckily for him, Danielle Maltby, a former “Bachelor” and “Bachelor In Paradise” contestant who lost her fiancé to a drug overdose, walks down the stairs. After she arrived, Michael admitted that he and Danielle had talked in the past, but had never met in person.
When the episode aired, Sierra live Tweeted about the situation, questioning the timing of it all.
Recently, Danielle went on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s podcast to discuss the drama, during which, both Danelle and Kaitlyn made some offensive comments about Sierra.

While on Kaitlyn’s podcast, both the “Bachelor In Paradise” host and contestant referred to Sierra Jackson as “what’s her name,” which many found offensive. Both also downplayed the situation involving Sierra, which many fans found disrespectful.
Sierra took to Twitter at the time, sharing notes from the podcast while writing, “Leave this here.”
He went on to explain, “To be clear, I’m done with Michael & have. This is why I don’t understand why I am a topic for them. Those who keep saying ‘stop it’… It’s funny [because] I’m in a relationship. But damn near 40 & hate at 27 who also has your man? goodbye. My feelings are valid.”
Danielle Apologizes To Sierra

Now, Danielle is speaking out about the comments made, apologizing to Sierra for her actions.
“I really want to apologize for hurting your feelings,” he said. “You know, I mean, I wasn’t there during the relationship. It was settled by the time I got there and I shouldn’t be talking about it.”
The 37-year-old concluded by saying, “And I really wish the best for him and I’m very excited to continue my relationship with Michael.”

Kaitlyn Bristowe has also spoken out since the podcast aired, admitting her actions and apologizing to Sierra.
“Sierra, I’m so sorry,” he wrote in a Tweet responding to Sierra’s earlier post. “I have been pondering for a few days and I see where I went wrong. I sent you a DM a few days ago and now, on Instagram. I want to apologize offline and to you in person.”
At the time of publication, Sierra had not responded to Kaitlyn’s or Danielle’s apology.
