Danish Sood is an Indian musician and actor. She is known for acting in the 2021 Bollywood film ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar,’ and in the Hindi web series Hostages (2020) and The Fame Game (2022).

Danish Pratap Sood was born in Delhi. He attended Delhi Public School, Dwarka. In 2013, he pursued a bachelor’s degree in Economics at Ramjas College in Delhi. Later, he pursued a master’s degree in Visual and Performing Arts at Dr BR Ambedkar University, Delhi. In 2019, he graduated with a postgraduate diploma in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the College of St. Xavier in Mumbai.

In 2020, Danish made his OTT debut with a series titled A Suitable Boy. In this series, he plays the role of a college student. He appeared in the 2019 web series titled Hostages where he played the role of CBI Officer Rohan. Danish has also appeared in other web series such as The Fame Game (2022) and Jugaadistan (2022). In the series Jugaadistan, Danish shared the screen with popular actors Ahsaas Channa and Sumeet Vyas.

- When Danish studied at school, he used to sing Christmas carols. After his older sister went to college, he started studying music out of desperation.

- In an interview, Danish talked about how ‘CAT’ was his breakthrough web series and said,
When I auditioned for it, I had no idea what it was for. What I was most interested in was the idea of the show. In CAT, I can offer more than I do in other projects. After two rounds of auditions, I really wanted to do it and I was lucky to get the part.”
- In an interview, while talking about his co-star Randeep Hooda in the serial CAT, Danish said,
Randeep is a great actor who is committed to his art. Even on set, he was so immersed in his character. I want to perform better and not let him feel that I am lacking somewhere. He used to be punctual on set and give me feedback on my scenes. And, sharing screen space with him was so surreal.”
