Eight months into his tour of duty in Vietnam, David was burned beyond recognition when a phosphorus grenade he was about to throw exploded on his finger. As a result of the incident, he spent fourteen months in hospital and underwent many critical surgeries. His survival and life is a miracle.
He has lectured in a variety of settings, including corporations, men’s and youth conventions, public schools, and military installations. He is an excellent communicator.
