Dave is a former country artist turned TV host. He is a member of a four-piece band and an aspiring musician. He was living in London at the time. Wilson eventually moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he secured a solo contract with Lyric Street Records. Kortney was signed to the same record company as well. Both were released by the label in 2003. In 2006, they formed The Wilsons to play as a duo. They eventually got their own show, Meet the Wilsons, which was an eight-part, half-hour series directed and edited by Bill Filipiak. Kortney and Dave released their self-titled album in June 2010.
Dave co-hosts the HGTV show “Making it Home with Kortney and Dave” with his ex-wife, Kortney. The first season of the show premiered in January 2020.
