In 2013, he started working as a manager at an orphanage in Kharar, Punjab. He resigned after working there for almost two years. In 2015, he began practicing as an advocate in the district court. He was also the joint secretary of the District Bar Association in Ludhiana. He has served as an advocate in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.

Davy Grewal started his acting career with a theater group at Punjabi Bhawan, Ludhiana in 2015. He worked there as a theater artist for almost six years. He has performed in various theater plays such as ‘Malham’ (2016), ‘Bhramjaal’ (2018), ‘Ek Bechara Bachpan’ (2018), and ‘Teri Jaat Kya’ (2018).

In 2017, he appeared in the music video of the Punjabi song ‘Graribaaz,’ which was uploaded on Jass Records’ YouTube channel.
