The doctor husband of Bill de Blasio’s lover, Kristy Stark, told The Post on Friday that his wife is no longer answering his phone calls — even though he says he still wants to save their 12-year union.
Owen Stark said he has no idea where his wife is and has rarely been in contact with her, apart from a brief phone conversation on Friday after their cordial relationship made headlines.
“Kristy is still the greatest woman I’ve ever met,” said the heartbroken husband, adding: “The only thing that matters is what she wants.”
And when asked if she wished that she had chosen to return to him rather than live out her new life in the Big Apple spotlight, she said: “Of course. She’s the mother of my children.”
Meanwhile, former first lady Chirlane McCray — who recently announced her amicable split from de Blasio — wouldn’t comment to us after briefly opening the front door of the Brooklyn home she and the former mayor still share.
Meanwhile, Owen Stark said Friday that he did not know whether his wife of 42 years was currently at loggerheads with de Blasio in New York City or whether she would return to Michigan, where the couple lives with their two children.
He said he wouldn’t try to force her to do anything.
“I never imposed demands on him. He does what he wants,” he said.

Asked if the budding relationship was serious, Owen Stark said “I don’t think they’re at that level yet. I don’t think it has happened for a long time. They met at some entrepreneur incubator thing, maybe in Boston. It might be this year.”
Kristy Stark and the former mayor, 62, who has been separated from McCray, his wife of 30 years, since July, were recently spotted chilling around Manhattan, holding hands during an afternoon stroll in the NoHo neighborhood on Wednesday.
Reached by text message Thursday, Kristy Stark told The Post that she and her husband, with whom they have two children, “are in the process of divorcing.”

The declaration, as well as her public appeal to the former hizzoner, apparently surprised her husband, who told The Post: “I’ve never seen any legal communication or been notified of anything like that. You know as much or more than I do at this point.”
In a follow-up text conversation on Friday, Owen Stark told The Post that he had spoken to his wife who “filled in the details,” though he did not say what those details were.
“I wish them the best.”
When asked if he thought they would divorce, Owen Stark said “I don’t know. There are children involved. It’s hard to know.”
Kristy Stark is the founder and CEO of MindsEmerge, a Michigan-based education and literacy company. Although it is not known how he and de Blasio met, he is listed on the company’s website as one of its “experts & advisors.”
The former mayor has had an active social life since announcing his split from his long-time wife, with the couple saying they will remain married but will have the freedom to see other people.
In October, de Blasio was seen chatting with a mystery woman in lower Manhattan over a candlelit dinner as they both sipped wine and laughed at the opulent La Mercerie.
A month earlier, he was seen passionately making out with another unidentified woman at the Empire Rooftop Bar near Columbus Circle.
