Dean McDermott’s son Jack, who was welcomed with his first wife, Mary Jo Eustace, is targeting his marriage with Tori Spelling, even at the expense of his mother!
The Canadian actor’s first son went on a social media rant recently, exposing his mother and accusing her of disrupting their family dynamic.

In a now-deleted post, the 24-year-old called out his mother in a lengthy Instagram post, expressing his anger at certain misinformation that he claims poses a threat to their family dynamic.

Jack began his broadcast, telling fans that he could no longer shut up about Eustace’s antics. “Since my parents’ divorce in 2006, I rarely speak up because I prefer to avoid it,” he said. “Unfortunately, because of my mother’s recent decision to spread information about my Father, Stepmother, and siblings, I can no longer remain silent.”
The young adult continued, explaining that his father chose to walk away from co-hosting the “Ex’s & Uh-Ohs” podcast with his ex-wife last week because of the way he spoke negatively about the “Due South” actress and Spelling. “He also chose to leave because the producers of the show betrayed his trust and leaked personal information,” added a disappointed Jack.
The San Franciso State University alum later strongly defended his father, saying the 56-year-old had “made amends” for mistakes he made in the past, but that wasn’t enough. In his words:
“He has grown so much as a person. Until a week ago, where were our two families [sic] live in harmony. With this podcast, it has driven a wedge between our two families and created a rift that I am unable to mend. Unfortunately, I’m not sure it can happen.”
In a clear statement to his followers, Jack warned them to take the information provided on the podcast “with a grain of salt.”
She then pleaded with the “Canada AM” star to stop the misinformation, writing, “From my mother, I ask that you respect me, and my blended family. Please refrain from putting any additional stress on our family dynamic. The last few years have been nothing but peace and happiness, and I ask that we continue to try and maintain it.”
McDermott And Ex-Wife Eustace Spark Reconciliation Rumors
The response from Jack comes two months after McDermott and Eustace sparked reconciliation rumors after they posted pictures of themselves together on social media. In a now-deleted upload shared on the Toronto native’s page, the reality TV star shared a photo of him posing with his ex-wife as they twinned in black.
The eyebrow-raising image showed the exes looking friendly and wearing all-black ensembles as they posed for a photo, standing side by side with Eustace lovingly resting his head on the “Tori & Dean” star’s shoulder. McDermott captioned the post, “Reunited?? #Ex&Uh-oh.”
“What’s for Dinner?” repost images with similar captions. At the time, fans suggested that McDermott and Eustace got back together since his marriage to Spelling was going through a rough patch. In September, the couple was spotted without their wedding rings.
It also doesn’t help that McDermott is missing from the family’s 2021 Christmas card. However, it turned out that the photo promotion was just for their podcast, which the father-of-six has now denied.
As for the state of McDermott and Spelling’s marriage, the couple seems to be finding their way back to each other. As The Blast reported last month, the author of “The Gourmet Dad” finally addressed rumors of a broken marriage in an interview.

McDermott confirmed that he will be spending the holidays with his family, unlike last year. He said of their relationship, “Everything is amazing. Everything is great. We are having fun. We love the cold weather and then getting ready for the craziness of Thanksgiving and Christmas…I’m excited.”
A few weeks after the interview, the nine families brought out their Christmas cards, and McDermott smiled and showed up. He also recently showered his love on the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum in an Instagram post, calling her his “hot wife.”
