She later sang many songs like Lachaka Mani Baby, Chalire Tora Padma Phute, Shehzadi, Diwana, Tu Suna Tu Heera, and Tame Jadi Gadhi Diya Mo Pain in collaboration with many other popular Odia singers including Aseema Panda, Antara Chakraborty, Ira Mohanty, and Dipti Rekha Padhi.

Although he has sung songs in different genres like sad, devotional and party, his fans love his romantic songs very much and consider him as the Odia version of popular singer Kumar Sanu.

Controversy
Abuse & Fraud
On the evening of November 2, 2023, he was arrested from Jajpur on charges of rape, molestation, physical and mental torture, and fraud. Reportedly, he met a girl belonging to Bhadrak around two years ago in 2021 and had a physical relationship with her on the pretext of marrying her later and also took Rs 5 lakh from her during that period; however, he later started to distance himself from her and did not answer her calls or messages. He lodged two police complaints, one at Nayapalli police station, number 103/2023, at Bhubaneswar and another at Bhadrak against him. In her complaint, the girl alleged that Debesh also took her nude photos, made obscene videos and threatened to release her publicly if she raised the matter in the media. She also claimed that when she was pregnant with Debesh’s child, he forced her to terminate the pregnancy by taking pills. He also accused Debesh of having an affair with an Odia singer. Satyaranjan Pradhan, Inspector in charge of Nayapalli police station spoke about the FIR section while talking to the media and said,
As per the directions of the local court, a case has been registered against the singer under various sections of the IPC including 376 (2) (n) and the IT Act. He was arrested on Thursday evening and later produced before the court.”
Pradhan also informed the media that Debesh was arrested on the basis of WhatsApp chats and details of money transactions. His family members said that this could be a plan to tarnish Debesh’s image.
