He took the opportunity to reflect on his vacation, while discussing his autism diagnosis.
“I’ve been home for a few weeks and looking back at this video I can’t believe I’m there ? like it doesn’t feel real??,” she began writing. “This happens every time I travel. I’m also thinking about The Bachelor and it feels like I’m not really into it. It’s hard for me to fully understand the location/point of interest. Because so many aspects of adventure require my full attention to properly appreciate them (if this sounds like you- look to monotropism).”
He concluded with, “It’s so fun to look back and feel ‘omg I was THERE. In that beautiful place. HOWW’ ??? #travel #travelgram”.”

Last year, the former “Bachelor” contestant opened up about her recent autism diagnosis, admitting that she always felt like something was wrong.
“The biggest thing for me, is something I’ve always kept hidden, and it’s an overwhelming feeling of fear,” she told POPSUGAR. “Every time I get invited anywhere, any time I have to leave the house and interact socially with people — it’s a catastrophic feeling.”
Following her time on reality television, Burnett finally decided to get help. “I’m trying to figure out what’s going on in my brain,” Burnett told the website. “I don’t have many people like that who talk about the same experience I went through.”
He continues to be candid about how he struggles with everyday tasks, which many people with autism do. “I don’t take care of myself,” he admitted. “And also feed myself. “It’s very difficult for me to eat because [there are] so many demands that come with eating, like deciding what to eat, preparing the food, sitting down, eating the food, cleaning it all up,” explains Burnett.
After he got help and was diagnosed with autism, everything made sense to him. “It made everything click 100 percent,” Burnett told POPSUGAR of the PDA profile her doctor took. “Love [once I knew] I’m autistic, I’m like, ‘Yeah, this makes sense. But I don’t understand it either, and it’s kind of not.’”
