Reality star Denise Richards is more than ready to make a comeback on Bravo’s hit reality series, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Richards initially joined the show for its ninth and tenth final seasons but left after clashing with another star, Lisa Rinna.
Richards recently spoke with Sirius XM’s Jeff Lewis and revealed that she will return to the cast of The Housewives even with Rinna still on the show. He also denied rumors claiming he vowed not to return to the show as long as Rinna remained on it.
Richards also revealed that Rinna has apologized and that he has accepted her but they can’t be close friends anymore. Earlier this year, Richards spoke about how she enjoyed her time on the show, even though she ultimately chose to leave.

During a recent interview with Jeff Lewis of SiriusXM, Richards revealed that she would be happy to return to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” He explained that he would have done it even though Rinna was still an actress and that he had no problem “shooting with her.”
Richards and Rinna were close friends until the tenth season, when Rinna accused the 59-year-old Richards of being a cheater and having an affair with Brandi Glanville. Soon after, the “Wild Things” cast left the show and refused to return.
Richards never made it clear that the fight with Rinna was the reason she left the show. He told SiriusXM“Yeah, I always say that. Never say never, you know.”

He Discredited the Rumors
Current SiriusXM interview (via Daily Mail), Richards also addressed several rumors that claimed he refused to return to the show until Rinna was removed from the cast. He said, “That’s not true. I could work with Lisa and shoot with her. I never said I wouldn’t get back with her.”
He also explained that he doesn’t hold a grudge against Rinna because she already apologized after the fight. Richards said, “He called me, he texted me apologizing. There were rumors that I never responded but I responded, I responded immediately.”

During a recent conversation with US Weekly, Richards also spoke about Rinna’s apology after her public accusation. She said, “He contacted me and he apologized and it means a lot to me that he did.”
According to a Page Six reported with a screenshot, Rinna did apologize to Richards in a text message. The text read, “Denise, I am so sorry for the way I treated you on and around the show. I hope you are doing well, and I wish you and your family only the best.”
Richards’ reply came a moment later and read, “Thank you so much for your text. It means a lot. I hope you and your family are well.” However, the “Love Accidentally” actor told Sirius XM that he and Rinna can’t be close friends anymore.

He said, “I will say this. Lisa Rinna, she plays dirty, she can be really mean, so I think that’s just something to be aware of with her being on the show… I don’t think I would. I could never -times being close friends with him after what happened… So it’s hard for me to really believe that the apology was genuine.”

Denise Richards Enjoys The Show Before She Goes On
During a June interview with US Weekly, Richards spoke about her decision to leave “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” He explained that despite his choice to leave the show, he really enjoyed his time there.
She said, “I don’t regret going on the show at all. I really love the work. I love the moments when we travel and have dinner with each other. And there’s a great camaraderie with the women on the show. And that’s something that I think it’s really positive.”
