The father of the kidnapped Israeli student is terrified caught on video was brutally run over on a motorcycle after attending a hot party near the Gaza Strip revealed that she feared the worst when she received a strange message from her boyfriend — only for her worst nightmare to be confirmed by the harrowing video.
Noa Argamani’s father, Yaakov Argamani, tearfully shared that he prayed for the 25-year-old’s safe return after he was abducted from a trance music festival near Kibbutz Re’im, where Hamas militants opened fire and fired rockets into the crowd.
“I’ve been trying to contact him since we heard about it [rocket] siren,” he told Channel 12, according to The Times of Israel.
According to Argamani, the answer seemed strange, prompting him to go to the hospital to see if he could learn anything that way.
“I went to one of the offices and was informed that he was not injured. While on the phone, his roommate called us, and said there was a video of him riding a motorcycle and he was kidnapped and taken to Gaza,” said Argamami.
“I was hoping he was wrong, it wasn’t, and then in the emergency room, a guy approached me and told me there was a video if I wanted to see it.”
“I asked to see and then I saw that it must be him. He was very scared, very scared. I’ve always protected her, and right now I can’t,” she cried. “I pray that everyone will come back.”
Distressing footage emerged of Argamani screaming for help, shouting “Don’t kill me!” and “No, no, no,” as she was taken away on a motorcycle by Palestinian gunmen while her boyfriend, Avinatan, could be seen being manhandled by terrorists.
Moshe Or reported his brother, Avinatan, missing before he was shown the gruesome video footage of him and Argamani.
“I was worried and tried to call them, but his phone was unavailable and neither was his phone. After a few hours, the emergency services called us and told us that they saw a video of my brother and his girlfriend Noa being held hostage towards the Strip,” he said.
Other footage appears to show Argamani in Gaza.
The death toll in the surprise attack, which was the worst attack Israel has faced in 50 years, rose to at least 600 on Sunday and at least 2,000 were injured, officials said.
On Sunday, the security cabinet in Israel officially voted to declare war — the first since the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu already referred to Israel being “at war” Saturday, but the security cabinet’s decision opened up “significant military activity,” the prime minister’s office said.
Israel’s declaration is in line with Israel’s article 40, which allows the government to oversee “significant military actions that could lead, with an almost certain degree of probability, to war.”
The declaration also gives additional wartime powers to the prime minister, with the approval of the security cabinet
