Wait! Did Tom Cruise hang out and sing for Paris Hilton? Let’s see again.
Since the release of Elton John and Britney Spears’ epic duet “Hold Me Closer,” many fans around the world have taken to social media to show how much they care. Among the music lovers is the “Paris In Love” star, who was recently serenaded by a movie star impersonator and a lookalike of the famous “Top Gun: Maverick” star.

The blonde diva shared an entertaining and collaborative clip on her feed featuring herself acting with Miles Fisher, who could replace the “Mission Impossible” star.
It begins with the two holding sparkling mugs in the kitchen and leaning against the counter while Hilton asks Fisher, “Tommy can you sing me that song again?” This led the 39-year-old to ask the reality star, “which one?” while sipping from his cup. Hilton then said she knew who she was talking about, prompting Fisher to sing:
“So hold me closer, little dancer. Count the lights on the highway. Lay me in a linen sheet. You have a busy day today.”
As she sang, she stood close to the 41-year-old, then sat at the kitchen counter while Hilton, who swayed to the tune, moved to hold her fluffy pup. After finishing the song, the “Confessions of an Heir” author said, “It’s good…but not great. You should stick to acting.”
Fisher had a Cruise-like expression on her face after looking shocked. He said, “Yeah, I might have to,” before jumping off the counter. The video shows the “Gods and Generals” actor dressed comfortably in a robe that reveals fine fur on his chest while his video partner opts for a pink zip-up hoodie and simple jewelry. In the caption, Hilton wrote:
“Not like it was sung to my favorite #BritneySpears and @EltonJohn songs. #ThatsHot, #ButCouldBeHotter, and #DeepTomCruise.”
Looking like Cruise isn’t something Fisher always enjoys, as she told the Hollywood Reporter in July that it has become a “weird burden and liability” both personally and professionally.
Once when he was meant to give a graduation speech at his alma mater, Harvard, he was referred to as “the Tom Cruise guy,” causing him to feel his identity “turned inside out for the whole world to see.” He recalled that the incident left him feeling mocked as he stood behind the podium with his speech fading from his memory.
Even after college, people still told Fisher he looked like a young Cruise, prompting him to delve into acting to prove he wasn’t “the Tom Cruise guy.” He started with YouTube to “dodge” agents and casting directors and began to accumulate views that led him to get small roles in several productions.
His videos are often fake, but no matter how good he fakes it, he’s too good at imitating Mr. Mission Impossible. This prevents him from being professional despite trying different voice changes and looks.
However, the Texas native finally gave up trying to hide their similarities when he saw one of his videos was heavily faked by Belgian VFX artist Chris Umé, with Cruise’s face replaced. The interesting work eventually led him to create more “deep fakes”, gaining millions of views, with people believing he was a legendary actor, not an impersonator.
“This Is Paris” Star Vows To Continue Playing ‘Hold Me Closer’ On Repeat

Hilton, a longtime friend of Britney Spears, has been pretty vocal about her love for the Elton John-Britney Spears duet “Hold Me Closer” and intends to keep playing it on repeat for a while.
In August, Billboard reported that she shared a TikTok video of herself dancing along to the track all over her pink Bentley. It was captioned, “Yaaaass Britney [sparkle emoji]the queen is back!”
He added, “’Hold Me Closer’ is officially out & I’ll be playing it on repeat until further notice! So proud of you, sister @britneyspears” along with the hashtags #HoldMeCloser, #Silving, and #ThatsHot.
Hilton and Spears’ friendship dates back decades, and the “Cooking with Paris” star was even one of the lucky few invited to the pop princess’ wedding. Seeing her friend walk down the aisle admittedly moved her, and she described it as a “magical fairy tale” that was “very beautiful and romantic.”
