Schwarzenegger has used his podcast, “Arnold’s Pump Club,” to keep his fans informed about events in his personal life. Taking the microphone in the most episodes, the actor said:
“Last Monday, I had an operation to become more like a machine: I got a pacemaker. First of all, I want you to know that I’m great!”
After reiterating that she underwent a surgical procedure on Monday, she noted that on Friday, she “was at a big environmental event with my friend and fellow fitness crusader Jane Fonda.” He added:
“No one would have thought I started this week with surgery.”
Schwarzenegger shared his appreciation for “the entire team at the Cleveland Clinic” for taking “amazing care” of him and making “the surgery as painless as possible.”

Delving further into the conversation, the Hollywood legend emphasized that he owes his continued presence to his persistence in maintaining communication with his doctors and following their advice.
He also revealed that his mother died in 1998 because she did not undergo the necessary valve replacement surgery before recalling:
“I went for a routine checkup in early March on my way to the Arnold Sports Festival, and they did a series of tests.”
Schwarzenegger revealed that his doctor advised him to prioritize getting a pacemaker right away, especially if he intends to be in good health for filming the second season of “FUBAR” just six weeks later.
Determined to deal with the issue quickly, the “Terminator” actor agreed to have the procedure done while en route from the United Kingdom, stopping in Cleveland.
He added that while the surgery meant he’d temporarily skip his “serious” gym workouts, he “will be 100% ready for FUBAR next month!”
Former Governor Previously Arrested In Germany

Schwarzenegger’s need to prioritize his health comes just two months after he was arrested for possessing an “unregistered” luxury watch during a customs inspection in Munich, Germany.
As The Blast reported in January, Schwarzenegger failed to declare his possession of an expensive watch upon his arrival, a mandatory requirement according to customs regulations.
The ordeal reportedly lasted for three hours, during which the 76-year-old man kept his cool, possibly to prevent the situation from escalating.
Those familiar with the incident described the superstar’s arrest as an “incompetent move,” declaring that he was never prompted to fill out a declaration form before traveling to Europe.
Schwarzenegger was eventually ordered to pay taxes on the watch, amounting to $10,613, an amount he allegedly complied with.

The checkout process didn’t go as smoothly as the former professional bodybuilder had hoped as his first attempt was met by a malfunctioning credit card machine.
After the actor’s repeated attempts to get the machine to work fail, he continues to withdraw cash from the ATM but is stopped by the low withdrawal limit.
Even the backup plan to withdraw from the bank failed due to its closure. Finally, a successful payment is made using a different operational credit card machine at the airport.
In addition to the tax payment request for the watch, criminal proceedings have been initiated against Schwarzenegger. The legal action was confirmed by Thomas Meister, a spokesman for the Munich Main Customs Office, who stated:
“We have initiated criminal proceedings under the tax law. The watch should be registered as it is an import.”
Controversial Watch Sold For Nearly $300k At Charity Auction

Despite the drama surrounding its arrival in Europe, the aforementioned watch fetched huge profits at Schwarzenegger’s charity auction at Austria’s prestigious Stanglwirt Resort.
The event, in support of Schwarzenegger’s Climate Initiative, saw the former politician take to the stage and oversee the bidding frenzy, with Audemars Piguet watches stealing the spotlight.
With an initial valuation of around $100k, the watch’s value soared, eventually reaching 270,000 euros (about $293k), according to sources in the know.
The incredible price surge contributed to the great success of the auction, raising a total of 1.3 million euros and setting a new record for the organization.
