Jimmy Kimmel introduced Luna by sharing a brief scene from the premiere of “Andor,” which can be seen in the video above. The show seemed darker than some other Disney+ series, prompting Kimmel to ask the 42-year-old actor if the show was aimed at adults and not kids.

Luna said that “it’s a complex show” and noted that her son, 14, and daughter, 12, both love the show, so it’s as much for kids as it is for adults. Luna said that she thinks “it’s about people wanting complexity.”

He noted that there were “too many layers to the show at times” and felt that “Andor” brought “the adventure and action that you want to see in Star Wars.” However, he said that the show “got very dark and political.”
