Dillon Jordan Was Sentenced To Five Years In Jail For Running A Prostitution Business

Dillon Jordan, a film producer, was sentenced to a maximum of five years in prison on Thursday, February 9, for running a luxury prostitution business for seven years. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dillon Jordan, 50, pleaded guilty on September 1, 2022, to running an international prostitution ring through his production firm, PaperChase Films, from 2010 to 2017.

The producer, known for his work in films such as The Kindergarten Teacher and The Kid, would illegally transport the women across state borders to enable them to perform illegal sexual activities for exclusive clients, many of whom were associated with Hollywood. According to the Justice Department, Jordan pleaded guilty to violating the Mann Act, which prohibits the transportation of people across state lines to engage in illicit sexual conduct. The court dropped numerous additional charges against him as part of the plea agreement, including three counts of inducement, use of interstate commerce to promote illegal activity and money laundering.

Dillon Jordan’s activities have been condemned by victims and authorities.

US Attorney Damian Williams described Dillon Jordan in court as a predator who used young women under cover to find them jobs in the entertainment business. According to Williams:

“For years, the defendant ran and benefited from a large corporation (…) that catered to rich men and depended on the exploitation of young women. This office is dedicated to pursuing the perpetrators of (such) crimes, especially those who benefit from physical and emotional abuse.”

Jordan’s business involved physical and verbal abuse, according to Judge Cronan, as he forced several women to work for him. According to the Judge:

“(Jordan’s) whole business is based on the exploitation of women… Every one of them has been left with lifelong physical and mental scars… If I had the power, I could easily go beyond five years.”

Prosecutors said Dillon Jordan operated the business from 2010 to 2017 through a purported party and event planning company and his real film production company. https://t.co/k0KgS3x6EL

According to US Attorney Audrey Strauss, although many of the charges against Jordan were dismissed as part of the plea deal, he used his production firm to launder large sums of money. He is also alleged to have a strong international network, engaging with distributors in other countries such as the United Kingdom.

According to Strauss:

“As noted, Dillon Jordan maintained a large and extensive prostitution operation for years, concealing the income he generated from exploiting women through fake event planning firms and film production companies.”

According to CBS, Jordan spent eight years in Cuba for similar crimes before the new charges.
