Position continues. “I was crying in the airport bathroom I made a small puddle and then almost slipped. Now I will walk to the ocean and find a shark to fight, maybe the only cure for sadness.”
The sad realization of how much Diplo has been through is harsh. He praised his mother, “She is my first and purest love. I wish someone would make me feel safe like you always do ?.”

He revealed that his mother’s health was not the best. “He follows me and every project and I always make him a double XXL shirt of my new album. He has been confined to a chair and an oxygen tank for the past ten years but I shine a light on his life every time I come home..”
While he’s grieving and still processing, Diplo shared one of the last interactions he had with his mother. “In fact two days ago he posted a heart on my page. I’m glad he got to see me create and grow and succeed just a little bit. he gave me so much confidence even when I was discouraged and lost.”

The DJ’s revelation received support from his fans and friends when he revealed in another post on Instagram that losing his sister in July was a blessing.

We are safe but he needs to be with my sister Amy in a better place. I miss you Barbara Jean, you are the brightest light in my life, I just cried for ten minutes in the bathroom at CDG airport sorry to Janitor.”
