However, he admitted SOME guilt.

And the fault was in his marriage.

Noth admitted he “strayed” from his marriage, telling the outlet, “I strayed from my wife, and it destroyed her and it’s not a very pretty picture. What it’s not is a crime.”

The former “Law & Order” star and his wife, Tara Wilson, married in 2012 and were together for ten years before saying “I Do.” They share two sons.

Noth expands on his infidelity saying, “You give yourself the same excuses that many men do; it’s just a little side dance, and it’s fun.”

He explained how he justified having extramarital affairs.

“You didn’t hurt anyone. No one will know about this, you know, and sex is fun,” admitted the 68-year-old. “And suddenly, many people want to have sex with you. It was like, ‘Okay, I’m never going to get this chance again.”‘

In December 2021, two women, protected by pseudonyms, came forward Rolling stones about their non-consensual sexual experiences with the actor.

It is important to note, these alleged incidents took place in two different locations and more than a decade apart.

An incident was reported at the West Hollywood building in Los Angeles, CA. in 2004.

Another alleged assault occurred at a Greenwich Village apartment in New York City in 2015.

Zoe claims she was sexually assaulted by Noth in 2004, and Lily claims she was sexually assaulted in 2015.

Both women approached THR in 2021 at different times and claimed not to know each other.

Their allegations against the actor were published just a week after the ‘SATC’ spin-off, “And Just Like That,” began its first season.

Zoe and Lily said “Promotion and press reports for HBO Max’s “Sex and the City” sequel series “And Just Like That”, in which Noth reprises his role as Mr. Big, evoke painful memories of the incident.”

Their stories have drastic differences, but there is one eerie similarity in both stories.

Both women claim Noth forced himself on them from behind and sexually assaulted them in front of a mirror.

Three additional women came forward claiming he also assaulted them.

At the time the initial allegations became public, Noth’s only statement was, “The allegations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are false. These stories could be from 30 years ago or 30 days ago – doesn’t always mean no – that’s a line I don’t cross. The meeting is consensual. It’s hard not to question the timing of this story coming out. I don’t know for sure why they are showing up now, but I do know this: I did not attack this woman.”

Noth Has Denied Any Wrongdoing Since 2021

Although he has continued to stand by his initial statement, Noth has gone into detail about the scandal and its aftermath.

“There’s nothing I can say to change anybody’s mind when you’re going through a tidal wave like that,” Noth explained. “It sounds defensive. I do not. There is no criminal court. No criminal trial. Nothing for me to take note of and get my story out, get witnesses. And there are even more ridiculous add-ons that are absolutely ridiculous, that have absolutely no basis in fact. And I don’t like to talk about it because as soon as I do it, you’ll get the Daily Mail or someone will take a piece of it and do it, and I don’t want my kids to see that.”

This is the pill Noth has come to swallow.

“That’s the money train for a lot of people,” he said.

Per USA Today article, no criminal charges have been filed; however, there is the possibility of civil lawsuits.

As for where his career is, Noth won’t be slowing down acting anytime soon.

“I’m not going to lie down and just say it’s over,” he said firmly. “It’s a raunchy story, but it’s not a true story. And I can’t just say ‘Okay, OK, that’s it for me’ because of that. I am an actor. I have other things I want to do creatively. And I have children to support. I can’t rest on my laurels. So yes, I have enough to let one year drift, but I don’t know how to measure or evaluate back to the club, the business, because the company is afraid. People are afraid of all this. Fear is the main verb when it comes to whether they believe or not. … I just have to keep going. It’s rough, because people are afraid, and their fear leads them. And I just have to hang on because I still have a creative life.”
