The first “Frozen” movie debuted in 2013 and became an instant hit as it grossed over a billion dollars worldwide. The 2013 Disney animated film is described as:

Walt Disney Animation Studios, the studio behind “Tangled” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” presents “Frozen,” a spectacular big-screen comedy adventure. Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) embarks on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and her loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose cold powers have ensnared the kingdom Arendelle in eternal winter. Facing Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a funny snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.

Thanks to its success, Disney released a sequel, “Frozen 2,” in 2019, which also stars Kristen Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Josh Gad (Olaf), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), and is described as:

Why was Elsa born with magical powers? What truth about the past awaits Elsa as she explores the enchanted forests and dark unknown seas beyond Arendelle? His answer calls out to him but also threatens his kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, he will face a dangerous but extraordinary journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa fears her power is too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” he must hope they are enough.

Both films are currently streaming on Disney’s streaming service, Disney+. There is currently no release date for the third “Frozen” movie, and no official title, but fans and Josh Gad himself are calling it “Frozen 3.”
