Disney fans return “Into the Unknown” as Disney CEO Bob Iger confirms there is a “Frozen” sequel in the works!
“Today I’m very pleased to announce that we have sequels in the works from our animation studio to some of our most popular franchises, Toy Story, Frozen and Zootopia,” Iger said during The Walt Disney Company’s Q1 Earnings Call yesterday afternoon. “We’ll have more to share about this production soon, but it’s a great example of how we’re leaning into our unparalleled brand and franchise.”

Fans have been begging Disney for another “Frozen” movie after the success of the first two movies for The Walt Disney Company. Starring Idinia Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell as Anna, Josh Gad as Olaf and Johnathan Groff as Kristoff, both “Frozen” and “Frozen 2” broke records and won awards, leaving Disney fans wanting more.
Now, “Frozen” fans can rejoice as Disney CEO Bob Iger has confirmed there is a “Frozen” sequel in the works – and it looks like at least one original cast member has confirmed their return.
“Back to the unknown… #frozen3❄️,” Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf, wrote on Instagram using a screenshot of an article from Deadline confirming the news.
At the moment, there aren’t many details about the upcoming sequel, that’s all is sequel in the works. However, it is expected that all four original actors will return to the franchise – including Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Johnathan Groff, and Josh Gad.
