Disney Channel star Milo Manheim joins an already established cast, including Jalen Thomas Brooks, best known for his recurring work on the CW’s “Walker” and Disney+’s “Big Shot” star Nell Verlaque.

Social media star and actress Addison Rae was previously cast as the supporting lead, along with Patrick Dempsey, known for his work on “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Bewitched.”

Character details are being kept under wraps, but fans can expect plenty of action and surprises as the film will follow a slasher who comes to a small Massachusetts town with the intention of “creating Thanksgiving carvings out of the townspeople,” per a source.

Shortly after the news broke, Manheim talked about the upcoming project on his Instagram page, writing, “There will be no leftovers ????.”

Will There Be A Fourth ‘Zombie’ Movie?

Milo Manheim has starred as Zed in the Disney Channel’s “Zombies” franchise for three movies, alongside Meg Donnelly who plays Manheim’s love interest, Addison. Fans can’t get enough of the “Zombies” movie, but will there be a fourth?

“If the opportunity presents itself and the stars align, it will be an amazing experience,” Manheim told HollywoodLife regarding the possibility of a fourth film. “Zombie has been the most amazing experience I have ever had in my life. So yes, of course, doing a fourth would be amazing. But the movie ends where we can leave it or it ends where we continue. So it really depends on what people think of Zombies 3.”

The movie “Zombies” has been a huge success and has had a huge impact on the younger generation, something Donnelly never expected. “It’s really surreal. I don’t know, it’s hard to think about because it’s so surprising,” Donnelly told HollywoodLife last year. “But I think the franchise speaks for itself with the amazing message that’s there. Any way we can help implement that with kids is really important, especially after seeing the impact it has on younger kids. I think it’s very it’s exciting to be part of a project where there’s definitely something – it’s not pressure – but it definitely comes with a definite responsibility because you want to make sure you see yourself in these young people.”

Manheim also touched on that, saying, “I’m young enough to remember that feeling of what it was like to meet Zac Efron and Selena Gomez. Not to say that we’re on their level, but I know that if someone feels that way, it’s my responsibility to live up to the hype. But also the movie does an amazing job with the writing that already conveys that very positive message. I am happy that we can spread it to all children.”

All three “Zombies” movies are streaming on Disney+. Manheim’s upcoming slasher thriller “Thanksgiving” does not yet have a release date.
