He started his career as a theater artiste and has performed in various popular Gujarati theater plays. In 2011, she made her acting debut in the Hindi short film ‘Kalapaani’ in which she played a minor role.
He debuted as an actor in Gujarati films with ‘Kevi Rite Jaish’ (2012) where he played the role of Harish Bacchubhai Patel.
In the same year, he played the role of Aamir Maqvi in the English-language Indian film ‘Canakya Speaks’ (2012).
Some of his popular Gujarati films as an actor are ‘Bey Yaar’ (2014), ‘Khaatti Meethi Setting’ (2016), and ‘Chasani’ (2019).
In 2017, he appeared in ALTBalaji’s Hindi web series ‘Boygiri’ where he played the role of Pragnesh Wakharia.
In 2022, he made his Bollywood debut as a director-writer with the Hindi film ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ starring Ranveer Singh, Shalini Pandey, and Boman Irani.
He has also featured in several TV commercials such as Amul Lassi.

- In an interview, he shared the fact that how he developed an interest in acting. He said,
I was only four years old then, and I got goosebumps watching seasoned actors on stage. I want to be on stage and act. And then, I started my stage career at the age of 17 with a professional theater!”
- In an interview, he talked about his hobbies. He said,
I love photography, and I’m getting better at it. Also, I’m a big movie buff. I am also a keen observer and watch people closely when I travel.”
- While struggling, he used to work as an actor during the day and do night shifts at a call center.
- During an interview, he shared that veteran Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah is his role model. He said,
Watching Naseeruddin Shah, who was my role model, was amazing. He is such a natural in front of the camera. Also, during Kevi Rite Jaish, I learned a lot from Anang Desai and Tom Alter. Acting is a two-way process and it’s important to make your fellow actors feel comfortable. And these guys did it very well.”
