Diya Basu was first seen in the TV series Kone Bau aired on Sun Bangla which focused on the topic of human trafficking where a young and simple woman named Koli was kidnapped by some people who planned to sell her in the human smuggling business.
Diya has worked in TV show Jibon Saathi. He won the hearts of Bengali serial lovers by playing the character of Priyam Banerjee opposite Sayan Karmakar. This is the story of Priyam, who is married to a man named Sankalpo, who was previously in love with his sister Jhelum. He struggles to win it and pursue his professional goals at the same time.
