Dog leaves home, scores a seat at Metallica concert: ‘She is apparently a huge fan’

He’s just bullshitting about heavy metal.

A California dog went viral after he escaped from his owner’s home over the weekend, and walked into a Metallica concert — securing seats for the record-breaking, sold-out show.

“You may have heard we have four-legged fans joining us for #M72LA!” the group wrote on social media Thursday, along with a viral photo of the canine crash animal, Storm, perched politely in the audience for the Aug. 25 performance at SoFi Stadium.

“After a night of performing with her #MetallicaFamily, Storm was safely reunited with her real family the next day. He had fun listening to his favorite songs, including ‘Barx Æterna,’ ‘Master of Puppies’ and ‘The Mailman That Never Comes.’”

Storm, whose owner lives next door to the Inglewood venue, was initially reported to have been abandoned at the concert by the Animal Hope & Welfare Foundation, which took her to a nearby shelter after the show.

In reality, Storm left his owner’s house alone and went to the stadium just in time for the heavy metal band to perform, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

“He’s apparently a huge Metallica fan who decided to sneak out for the concert!” Storm’s owner, Arizbeth Hurtado, joked on PetHelpful, the outlet said.

“We laughed out loud when we saw him SITTING IN THE REAL PLACE AT THE CONCERT.”

On Monday, Hurtado also posted a photo of her and Storm hugging to reassure the public that the four-legged runaway was back home, safe and sound.

But while Storm’s adventure is going well, experts warn others who want to bring their best male friend to a concert may be barking up the wrong tree.

“No matter what people think, no dog should be brought to a rock concert. It’s very strong,” writes Animal Hope & Wellness online.

“You definitely shouldn’t bring your furry friend to the #M72 World Tour. But this dog sure has his day…” Metallica added in their own statement.

The group is currently on a two-year world tour promoting their “72 Seasons” album, the Chronicle said.

The Los Angeles leg broke SoFi’s single-show attendance record — drawing 80,000 fans to the venue for the Aug. 25 show alone, the venue confirmed.
