Doja Cat Stirs Up New Controversy Over Her New Bat Tattoo Inspired By Starting Over

Doja — real name Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini — has become the latest internet sensation after she showed off a giant bat skeleton tattoo that takes up space on her back. The 27-year-old took to Instagram to drop four images, starting with a double-glazed mirror selfie in what appears to be a tattoo shop interior.
While other photos in the post give a total look at the ink, a third slide includes an attempt from the “Kiss Me More” singer to deflect negative comments on the painting. In the attached screenshot, which gives viewers a hint of the meaning behind the tattoo, he highlights the part that reads:
“Bats often represent death in the sense of letting go of the old, and bringing in the new. It is a symbol of transition, beginning, and the beginning of a new beginning.”
Despite this, many people continued to voice their thoughts on the evil nature of the ink, with one person writing, “Devil man is whiny for some reason.” A second claimed that they missed the “old Doja,” and a third declared that the soul of the “So High” hitmaker was “gone forever.”

“Oh great, you really are the devil,” added a fourth Instagram user, while a fifth encouraged him to admit he had “Illuminati connections.” Fortunately, some Doja fans came to his rescue, with this netizen pointing out, “He also meant so stupid idiots don’t scream at the devil anymore!”
The second supporter admitted, “Cool tattoo**. love you, dojo.” This isn’t the first time the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards host has faced accusations of promoting satanism with his tattoos.
A few weeks ago, the “Need to Know” singer had to defend herself against backlash when she debuted artwork on her left arm. The ink features a hybrid mix of animal and human features with a female body, clawed feet, clawed feet and some scaly parts.
The tattoo, inspired by an illustration from a 1665 book by Italian philosopher Fortunio Liceti, “De Monstris,” also includes the number four sitting next to a clawed foot. After reading various comments expressing the feeling that he was “possessed by the devil”, Doja chose to respond through a series of Instastories.

While one update read, “F**k you and f**k what you believe, b***h,” a second quipped, “And I f****d your mom b***h.” The ARIA Music Award winner stated, “The devil thanks for all the buzz,” in the third Story before he concluded, “Good night, p***y.”
The ‘Woman’ Singer Taps Her ‘Evil’ Side For THIS Snap
Doja leaned into the devil’s claim when he uploaded an image of himself in a mask linked to two horns. The red show covered most of her face, including her nose and mouth, leaving her signature full eyes and eyebrows exposed.
According to The Blast, he praised a small business — Kazclop, the artistic creator of yarn gloves, hats, leg warmers, Balaclavas and tops. The record producer then took to his Stories to share more insight into his sinister outfit, zooming in to show the intricate details of the Balaklava mask.
In one shot, the “Freaky Deaky” artist’s breasts are seen through the black-and-white knit top she is wearing. She also wore a see-through bottom with a strap around her exposed waist, highlighting her navel which was adorned with a diamond ring.
The expired update proves a fan’s earlier point that the more people complain about Doja’s “unacceptable” behavior, “the more he’ll post stuff like this. Keep them coming ???.”
