For Thanksgiving, Parton graced the stage at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Halftime Show during the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game.

Dressed in a Cowboys cheerleader-inspired outfit complete with a white belt with blue stars, a blue top and white shorts, Parton opened the high-energy performance with “Jolene,” followed by “9 to 5” and a cover of Queen’s. “We are champions.”

In the CBS booth, announcer Tony Romo couldn’t contain his excitement discussing Parton’s performance with Jim Nantz.

Romo expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “He’s wearing… a Cowboys cheerleader outfit.” Addressing Nantz, he said, “You saw it coming, didn’t you? You say, ‘I think she’s going in a little cheerleader outfit tonight,’ and I’m like, ‘Wow, that’s pretty cool.’”

Trying to divert the conversation, Nantz asked, “What do you think we’re going to see in the second half?” However, Romo remained enamored with Parton’s performance, commenting, “I mean, she looks great, doesn’t she? He is great. Who doesn’t love Dolly Parton?”

After the live performance, fans went to the X to praise Parton. Sports analyst Skip Bayless shared his admiration for the country singer, saying, “How about that Dolly Parton. Talk about dressing for the occasion. Now that’s amazing.”

One fan praised the “Jolene” songstress for her enduring vocal prowess, declaring, “Her voice is still good. Dolly Parton FOREVER. No one can convince me she’s not the Queen because this woman is the Queen & Goddess & everything is fine.”

Another fan jokingly stated, “We apologize, but this is no longer a football game; it’s a Dolly Parton concert.”

A fourth person marveled at Parton’s fitness, stating: “Dolly Parton is amazing—she and Cher have been taking good care of themselves. It’s almost impossible to compare Dolly’s shape to Donald Trump’s shape—I say that because of the age factor. Aren’t they both 77?”

Parton’s halftime performance comes after she releases her latest album, “Rockstar,” on Nov. 17. The album is a 30-song compilation featuring covers, originals and collaborations with famous artists such as Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Elton John, Pink , Brandi Carlile, Melissa Etheridge, and Sting.

Prior to the album’s release, Parton shared Miley Cyrus’ rendition of “Wrecking Ball” in a duet with her daughter.

The “Wildflowers” singer expressed admiration for the song’s impact, stating: “I remember the first time I heard ‘Wrecking Ball,’ it hit me the same way it did the first time I heard Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’.”

He continued: “I was driving, heard that one, and I almost broke down. And when I heard ‘Wrecking Ball,’ I almost broke down again. I thought when it started in that chorus, ‘It hit me like a wrecking ball,’ I thought, ‘Well, how great is that song?’”

Cyrus returned the thanks in an Instagram post, writing: “I grew up covering my Aunt Dollys music & it was an honor to hear her sing one of my songs.”

He added: “I love you Aunt Dolly! I am very pleased to add another collaboration under our shiny (studded leather) belt! We are ROCKSTARS now! You can hear so much sweetness and love on this record. Excited to share with everyone. Forever your Doll Baby, Miley.”
