As the “Wrecking Ball” singer turned 30, she received an outpouring of love from her godmother, who also noted that she was anticipating their iconic performance.

The 76-year-old took to Instagram to show the world how much he loves his beloved daughter. He shared two pictures with a smile.

The former Disney star wore a black sleeveless dress that showed off her tattoos, paired with strappy heeled sandals. Instead, the legendary country singer rocked a shimmering gold gown, adding gold heels to the look. The couple was surrounded by a sea of gold and black balloons, which complemented their outfits. As for their pose, the “Malibu” singer hugged her godmother from behind with a smile.
“Happy birthday, MileyCyrus!” Parton captioned the post. “I can’t wait to celebrate with you and welcome the new year!! ❤️”
Fans and other celebrities showered Cyrus with love, noting that they were expecting an iconic performance from the two.

According to reports, Cyrus’ New Year’s Eve Party will return this year on NBC, and the country icon instead of Pete Davidson will be joining her to celebrate the holidays. The event is executive produced by Lorne Michaels and will feature a star-studded lineup of performances and special guests, as yet to be announced.
Fans will remember that last year’s event in Miami featured artists including Brandi Carlile, Billie Joe Armstrong, Jack Harlow, and Saweetie. This year, Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party will air live on NBC from Miami on Saturday, Dec. 31, from 10:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.

This New Year’s Eve show is not the first time the “Jolene” singer and the “Heart Of Stars” singer will work together.
As you may recall, the philanthropist acted as the godmother of the “Party in the USA” singer in “Hannah Montana.” Cyrus, during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” recalled the first time she performed with the “Jolene” singer.
“I remember him coming to the table reading ‘Hannah Montana,'” Cyrus said. “I had, like, zit cream all over my face and my pajamas were on, and we were all carrying our backpacks, going to school, and she came in, in a pink silk robe! And her hair can barely fit through the door!”
He went on to reveal, “That was one of those proud moments where people started saying, ‘So you call her Aunt Dolly. Is that your real aunt?’ I was like, ‘Yes he is!’”
That same year, the “Coat Of Many Colors” singer was asked the same question in another interview, and she responded by saying she felt like a “proud mama.”
