Following his $355 million verdict, Trump supporters wasted no time setting up a GoFundMe with the goal of raising all the money he needs to pay his massive fine.

The fundraiser, launched by passionate MAGA fan Elena Cardone, is described as “a call to all business owners and entrepreneurs to rally in defense of all businesses and to [a] the man who never hesitated to defend us.”

Elena, who is the wife of real estate mogul and multi-millionaire Grant Cardone, added that the fundraiser “isn’t just about increasing the amount of ‘government’. It’s about making a stand. Donald Trump Is 'Absolutely Confident' He Will Be ReelectedMEGA

Amid MAGA’s attempts to help Trump pay his debts, the former president has made a request to Judge Arthur Engoron to delay enforcement of a $355 million fine from his fraud trial in New York. Trump is also barred from doing business in New York for the next three years.

In a letter to the judge, Trump’s lawyers accused New York State Attorney General Letitia James of being in an “undue rush” to enforce the court’s decision by immediately submitting a proposal for Engoron to sign shortly after the decision.

According to Trump’s legal representatives, the defendants will “ask the Court to stay the enforcement of the Judgment for thirty (30) days” if the judge decides to enter the attorney general’s judgment.

Trump’s lawyer also stated, per CNN: “Given that the court-appointed monitor continues to exist, there is no prejudice to the Attorney General to maintain summary enforcement to allow for an orderly post-Judgment process, especially given the magnitude of the Judgment.”

In a court filing on Thursday, the New York Attorney General’s office challenged Trump’s motion, claiming there was “no room for further debate.” A lawyer for the state also said that Trump’s lawyers failed to offer any justification for the 30-day extension they requested.

“We’re ready to make sure that judgment is paid to New Yorkers, and yes, I see 40 Wall Street every day,” James said.

The attorney general also slammed Trump’s claim that there were no victims in the case: “Financial fraud is not a victimless crime. He was involved in this huge amount of fraud. It’s not just simple mistakes, little mistakes, exaggerated variations, and shocking levels of fraud.

James added: “If the average New Yorker goes to the bank and hands over a fake document, the government will throw the book at them, and the same goes for the former president.”
