Donald Trump Hit With Gag Order After ANOTHER Snide Comment

A judge issued an oral order to prevent public statements about his staff after Donald Trump called his top law clerk and New York Attorney General Letitia James during the second day of the ongoing trial against him and his company.

In the trial, James has accused the politician, his two grown sons, the Trump Organization, and top executives of fraudulently overvaluing their properties, with Trump indicating that he intends to testify.

Donald Trump Warns Of Another Cynical Comment In Public Fraud Case

Trump got on Judge Arthur Engoron’s bad side after he released disparaging remarks about legal parties involved in his ongoing civil fraud trial via his Truth Social platform on Tuesday. The post contained disparaging remarks about the clerk, Allison Greenfield, accompanied by a photo of her posing with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, DN.Y.

In the post, the businessman referred to the clerk as “Schumer’s girlfriend” and claimed that she was “running this case against me.” He also exclaimed, “What a shame! This case should be dismissed immediately!!” in the update.

The 77-year-old mentioned Schumer and the clerk again during a break in proceedings the same day, claiming that the hearing was “rigged” and a “fraud.” The post was removed during a lunch break after a closed-door meeting between parties involved in the trial, held in the same room where Trump is on trial.

After a break, Engoron addressed the situation without specifically naming Trump or Greenfield, referring to the former US president solely as a defendant. He said:

“Personal attacks on my court staff are unacceptable, inappropriate and I will not tolerate them under any circumstances.”

Judge Engoron explained that his statement should be considered a “joke order” prohibiting any broadcasts, emails, or public statements about his staff members. He further emphasized that severe sanctions will be imposed if this order is violated.

Although he did not provide specific details, legal experts have suggested that if the media personality ignores the order, the judge could impose a fine on him, potentially up to $1,000. Although the likelihood of this is relatively low, the judge may also consider holding him in jail for a maximum of 30 days.

This is not the first time that the Trump Organization founder’s social media posts have been a contentious issue in the case against him. According to The New York Times, federal prosecutors, who accused the father of five of trying to overturn the 2020 election, have sought a restraining order over his threatening online comments.

In a separate criminal case in Manhattan, related to a 2016 hush money payment to a porn star, a judge has limited Trump’s ability to post about certain evidence.

John Kelly Confirms Trump’s 2020 Snide Comments About Veterans

Before he was hit with a subpoena, former “The Apprentice” alumni chief of staff John Kelly confirmed claims that he belittled veterans’ efforts during a private conversation in 2020. To make this point, Kelly issued a lengthy statement that began:

“Someone who thinks those who defend their country in uniform, or are shot down or seriously wounded in battle, or spend years tortured as POWs are all ‘sick’ because ‘there’s nothing for them.’ Someone who doesn’t want to be seen in the presence of amputated military personnel because ‘it doesn’t look good to me.’”

Continuing, the 73-year-old declared that Trump “showed open contempt for Gold Star families — for all Gold Star families — on TV during the 2016 campaign, and called our most valuable heroes who gave their lives in America’s defense a ‘loser. and will not visit their graves in France.”

Kelly’s criticism of the politician went beyond reported comments, as she slammed her former boss for what she saw as dishonesty on a range of issues. This includes University of Pennsylvania graduates’ positions on topics such as abortion, minorities, women’s rights, Jews, evangelical Christians and working individuals.

The former political adviser went on to call Trump an admirer of a “murderous autocrat and dictator,” and an individual who has only “contempt” for “our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law.” Concluding her impassioned statement, Kelly wrote, “There’s nothing more to say. God help us.”
