President Joe Biden and several others took to social media to poke fun at Donald Trump after he revealed he won two golf trophies at his West Palm Beach golf club yesterday.
Trump attended the lavish event, where golf legend Jack Nicklaus presented him with the trophy while his wife, Melania Trump, watched.
The former president is hours away from losing some of his prized assets in a possible seizure by New York Attorney General Letitia James if he fails to pay a $454 million fraud fine.

The billionaire politician took to his social media platform Truth to announce that he won two golf trophies at his golf club on Sunday.
Trump wrote on Social Truth, per Every dayMail: “It was my great honor to be at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach tonight, AWARDS NIGHT, to receive the CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY & SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. I WON BOTH!”
Pictures from the evening on social media showed him being presented with the trophy by golf great Nicklaus, who is backing Trump in 2020 and is the sport’s all-time leader with 18 majors.

“Great talent and playing golf, GREAT and tough courses, makes the game so exciting,” Trump wrote to show his excitement. “The qualifiers and matches are amazing. A big and distinguished group will be there tonight. Very exciting, thank you!!!”

Trump’s announcement drew derision from President Biden and other liberals, who took to social media to laugh at the Republican presidential candidate.
“Congratulations, Donald. Quite an accomplishment,” Biden posted to X (formerly Twitter).
Former MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann wrote: “Oh man. Beating Dishonest J. Trump because of his…golf game.”
“He’s too nice to note that Trump is a notorious cheater in golf,” said Bloomberg Opinion editor Tim O’Brien.
A fourth said, “It’s also awards night at my house! I was honored with BEST CAT MOM in the poop scooping, feeding and digging categories! It’s truly an honor to be recognized.”

The former president’s victory at his golf club came hours before a Monday deadline when he was expected to fork out $464 million or risk some of his prized assets and/or bank accounts being seized by New York AG Letitia James.
Trump has since blasted Judge Arthur Engoron, who presided over the case, as a “rogue judge” and said James was considered by many to be “the WORST Attorney General in the US”.
“He is a Low IQ individual campaigning for Governor, using my name, and THAT,” he wrote on the Truth Social site.

Pollster Warns NY AG Against Seizing Millionaires’ Real Estate

Top GOP pollster Frank Luntz has voiced his concerns about James targeting Trump properties in a $464 million fraud fine and the implications that could have for his re-election bid.
Luntz, who is considered an anti-Trump Republican, stated that James’ actions will only help Trump win the election because it allows him to “create the biggest victim in 2024.”
“If they take his stuff, he’s going to say that this is proof that the federal government and the establishment and the swamp in Washington… that this is a conspiracy to deny him the presidency,” Luntz said on CNN panel last week.
“He will go up in the election just like he goes up every time they accuse him,” he continued.

“In the seven swing states, Trump is up by a margin of error in five out of seven. Why is that? Because his critics are stupid and they ran a terrible campaign,” Luntz said.

Trump recently used his social media site Truth to slam the possibility of his property being seized.
“Why is it that Crooked, highly politicized New York Judge Arthur Engoron, working in concert and coordination with an even more corrupt Attorney General, Letitia ‘Peekaboo’ James, her Puppet Master, and the White House, is allowed to seize, and sell, real estate and assets a very successful one that took me years to zone, build and cultivate some of the best of its kind anywhere in the World – IF I’M NOT DOING IT WRONG!” he wrote, per News Week.
Trump added that the fine was “ridiculous and unheard of” and that it was only imposed because they saw “the same amount” in his bank account.
He went further to share that the funds were intended for his campaign, claiming that the imposition of the fine was a deliberate attempt to thwart his plans.
Trump added, “I’ve intended to use a lot of that hard-earned money to run for President. They don’t want me to do that—ELECTION INTERFERENCE!”
