Donald Trump trial live updates: Ex-prez heads to court for $10M defamation suit, may testify today

The $10 million defamation trial against Donald Trump resumed Thursday for the first time since it was paused for Tuesday’s New Hampshire GOP primary.

The former president could testify in his defense today.

A jury is set to decide how much damages Trump should pay Carroll, after she was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation of him last year.

Carroll, a former longtime Elle magazine advice columnist, is seeking $10 million.

Because the case is a civil proceeding, Trump’s defendants did not have to appear, but promised last week that he intended to “go to all days” of the trial.
