Donny Davis Cause of Death
Las Vegas impersonator/comedian Donny David has died. As the autopsy has not yet been carried out, the cause of his death is not publicly known as of 23 Feb 2022.
According to reports from TMZ, the comedian was found dead in a room at the Resorts World Hotel. The outlet reported that he “may have died of foul play” based on a police report obtained by the media outlet. According to Las Vegas Police, he was reportedly hanging out at the Dawg House bar around 1 a.m. with another man and two women.
Later, the group headed to get drinks at the Flamingo, before returning to his hotel at Resort World around 2:30 a.m. According to TMZ, one of the women in the group said that Donny was denied alcohol at their last destination because he was “too drunk.” However, Donny and his male friend are said to have returned to the comedian’s room at 3:30am where they stayed for almost an hour.
When they got home at 5 a.m., they noticed Donny’s hands looked pale and turned purple as he sat in the chair. One of his female friends claimed Donny was ‘cold’ and he was not breathing which made them call security who called the police.
Donny was pronounced dead at 7am at Sunrise Hospital.
As for “foul play,” the police report revealed that Donny’s friends refused to talk to them without a lawyer. The police also had trouble finding the person who lived in the room with Donny.
Obituaries began to pour in for the comedian.
Donny’s friend Jeff Beacher told the DailyMail, “Today I not only lost a friend. I lost my dream, my brother, my best friend. Donny is more than just a loyal best friend. I trust him with everything from my life to my business and everything in between. Donny is an Angel. “
Meanwhile, Jeff also admired his friendship with the late comedian when speaking to the outlet. He then ended by saying, “This planet is a better place with you on it. I will continue our dream and win awards for our documentary and continue to push for equality for everyone to honor you. I love you, Donny. You are the best .”
Along with Jeff, Ryan Phillippe, comedian Jeffrey Ross, Nicky Hilton, and Paris Hilton also paid their respects.
