Dozens of Hamas terrorists surrendered to Israeli forces in northern Gaza Thursday, according to reports.
The group surrendered after being pushed back by advancing Israel Defense Forces near Jabaliya, the Times of Israel reported.
Channel 13 Local showed images of the handover, which showed dozens of men lined up in the street, sitting in rows with their hands above their heads.
Many of the men were stripped to just their underwear as IDF soldiers lined up the others to continue further down the closed road.
In one clip, Hamas members can be seen behind an Israeli military vehicle.
Channel 13 reporter Almog Boker estimated that over a hundred Hamas fighters surrendered, the largest group to surrender to the IDF since Israel began its incursion into Palestinian territory.
Kan News Israel, however, reported that the group of men were detained before the IDF could confirm whether they were all members of Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
The New Arab, a Qatari-owned news outlet based in London, claimed that one of the men seen in the footage was Diaa Al-Kahlot, one of its reporters reporting from Gaza.
Senior Hamas leader Osama Hamdan claimed that the people captured in the video were unarmed civilians not affiliated with the terror group, Arabic broadcaster Al Araby reported.
The IDF has yet to comment on the arrests in Jabaliya.
Northern Gaza City has seen some of the fiercest fighting in recent days as the IDF stormed Hamas’ general security headquarters in the area.

There, Israeli forces found weapons, equipment and intelligence documents belonging to the terrorist group, officials said.
The operation came after the IDF surrounded the Jabaliya refugee camp, one of the largest in the region which has been besieged by airstrikes and nearby gunfire.

The US has previously demanded an explanation as to why Israel bombed the camp which reportedly killed dozens.
Israel has defended its attack near the camp as a way to reach the headquarters in Jabaliya.
Thursday saw further fighting in northern Gaza as members of the IDF Border Defense Corps spotted a group of Hamas fighters approaching Israeli forces.
Terrorists were seen opening fire on IDF soldiers, with some Hamas members armed with RPGs.
Defense Corps units were able to call in airstrikes that killed all Hamas fighters, the IDF said.
After nearly two months of advancing into northern Gaza, the IDF has demolished most of the terrorist infrastructure and has stepped up its offensive south, with the fighting focused on Khan Younis, the area’s second largest city.
