Then he joined KK Kastela, the second best league in the country. He joined KK Cedevita’s junior team for the Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Championship in February 2014, where he collected 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. Then he signed a seven-year deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv from Israel, but he was soon transferred to Ironi Ramat Gan of the Leumit League.
He made his debut against Ramat Hasharon on October 21, 2014, collecting 13 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 assists. Dragan Bender was recalled by Maccabi Tel Aviv and made his debut with 5 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 blocks in a win against Maccabi Kiryat Gat.
