In her conversation with Sandler, Barrymore asked, “If you had one movie that you had to choose, one movie that could represent like, you know when they put the time capsule together, what would your movie be? [movie]?”

“So the movie sums everything up?,” Sandler asked, “I was working with this young lady, I met her at the Newsroom Cafe, she came in, she had trendy, pink hair, she came in, we were stuck with the idea of ​​a movie , we got together and recorded it, we had the best time ever, and I said ‘I want to see it,’ and we called it… ‘The Wedding Singer,’” he and Barrymore said in unison.
